I’m Martha Bodyfelt, and if you’re not here for my weird jokes, I don’t know what to tell you.
I wasn’t always this confident about owning who I am in all my glory, let me say that.
Before I became a love coach, I was a divorce coach. I soon discovered navigating a divorce wasn’t over when the divorce was over.
When the divorce was over, I had all this self-exploration to do. I wanted love, but more than that, I wanted to know what I could expect from men. I wanted to know whether it was possible to find what I wanted.
I’d be scrolling through Tinder late at night, reflecting on the fact that there I was: a financially successful, emotionally available, fun, adventurous, grown-ass woman. And all I could find were douchebags.
(Ask me about the time I fell madly in love with someone who didn’t tell me he had a wife until after we discussed the possibility of moving to Afghanistan together. Yeesh!)
Every 14 minutes, someone finds love on Eharmony, so why wasn’t it happening for me?
And why wasn’t anyone there to help me through it in a meaningful way?
If it was easy, there wouldn’t be so many movies and songs and reality TV shows about it, right? *Hey Siri, cue Love is Blind Season 4*
Eventually, you start to wonder, if someone wonderful is out there for me…
“Where the f*ck is he?!”
But that uncertainty doesn’t have to define your dating experience.
It’s possible to date from a place of integrity and clarity.
And I developed a no-bullshit system to get you there way quicker than I did.
